Playdough mats

Alphabet playdough mats (Ref: SB214)
26 A4 sheets, one for each alphabet letter.  Print these out and laminate to use as playdough mats.  Your pupils will love forming their own playdough letters on top of the large letter on each sheet.

Letter blends playdough mats (Ref: SB404)
A PDF with 29 A4-sized playdough mats which can be printed and laminated.  Each mat shows one of the common initial consonant blends which children can then form themselves by overlaying playdough above the letters.  Most of the mats also include relevant and colourful pictures.

Alphabet playdough mats - cursive (Ref: SB433)
32 A4 sheets, one for each alphabet letter including some formation variations.  Print these out and laminate to use as playdough mats.  Your pupils will love forming their own playdough letters on top of the large letter on each sheet.

Alphabet playdough mats - capitals (Ref: SB677)
26 A4 sheets, one for each capital alphabet letter. Print these out and laminate to use as playdough mats. Your pupils will love forming their own playdough letters on top of the large letter on each sheet - a great way of reinforcing formation and capital letter recognition in a practical way. These sheets can be printed for many other uses too!

Digraphs playdough mats (Ref: SB782)
A PDF with 32 A4-sized playdough mats which can be printed and laminated. Each mat shows a common digraph which children can form themselves with playdough. Most of the mats also include relevant and colourful pictures, many of which can be made from playdough such as ‘pies’, ‘fruit’, ‘beads’ and ‘chocolate’.

Phoneme playdough mats (Ref: SB1157)
A set of 50 A4 sheets, one for each phoneme specified in the DfES ‘Letters and Sounds’ document.  Your pupils will love forming their own playdough letters above the large letters on each sheet - a great way of reinforcing formation and letter recognition in a practical way.  Many of the mats also include relevant pictures which can be made from playdough such as ‘apples’, ‘chocolate’ ‘stars’ etc.
