Here’s some basic ideas to make sure your toolbar is a hit with parents and pupils!

Login and customise your toolbar here!

Use the messaging system
Your toolbar is a fantastic way of keeping parents informed of what’s going on at school.  Send reminders of events, INSET days, homework, trips, school closures and more.

Add your own links
Customise your toolbar by adding links to useful online activities for children and parents.  You could provide links to topic-related websites, educational games, advice sites for parents and more!

Link to your school’s newsletter page
If your school has a website and produces a weekly newsletter, you could add a link to your site so that parents can quickly access your school’s news and important information.

Add components
We’ve provided you with a basic toolbar template to get you started, but there’s loads of additional features you can add and customise to suit your school community.

Promote it!
Your school or class toolbar is an ideal communication tool between school and parents so it’s essential you tell your staff where and how to download.  Send out a flyer to tell parents about it, or easily add banners to your school website.
