Sound and hearing

Sound and hearing visual aids (Ref: SB757)
A set of very useful visual aids linked to the topic of ‘Sound and Hearing’.  The file consists of 18 A4-sized printable sheets showing various sound sources and the sounds that they make, together with other words and pictures linked to sound - such as ‘echo’, ‘ear’, ‘high and low’ and ‘loud and quiet’.

Listening area word labels (Ref: SB576)
A useful group of signs for use in your classroom water area.  The set includes words such as ‘pour’, ‘full’, ‘empty’, ‘stir’, and ‘splash’, all with accompanying pictures.  The labels are JPG images and can be easily resized to suit your needs.

Science word mats (Ref: SB764)
A set of 6 A4-sized printable word mats to laminate and use as prompts for children’s writing.  These brightly-coloured mats include useful words and pictures related to forces, the weather, sound and hearing, colour and light, electricity and materials.
